| Source: Vectren, Corp. purchases natural gas from several natural gas production fields in the gulf and plains states. Gas is delivered to Vectren’s purchase point at Columbus by Texas Gas Transmission Company. Availability: Natural gas is available throughout the Columbus community. Several options are available for industrial and commercial users. Commercial and industrial customers may, in many circumstances, elect to purchase their gas supply independently, and pay Vectren for transportation services only. |
Delivered BTU: Nominally 1,000/BTU per cubic foot. Other Assistance: Vectren, Corp. has staff and other resources available to assist in the development and evaluation of natural gas uses or technologies. Vectren’s website offers useful tools to residential and commercial customers to analyze their gas usage, and incentives to purchase energy-saving equipment. |
