The arts and architecture have long been a core component creating the vibrant community that is Columbus. Columbus is most widely known for its architecture, ranking 6th in the nation for architectural innovation and design by the American Institute of Architects alongside such cities as Chicago, New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Washington DC.
