Columbus, Indiana – Shively Bros. Inc. is a precision tooling preset organization servicing the engine manufacturing industry. The company identified a 6,400 s.f. facility at 4441 Kelly Street that will accommodate the installation of $725,000 in machinery & equipment by mid-year 2018.

The company plans to invest up to $10,000 in building improvements.  Within the first five years, the company will make a capital investment of approximately $934,000 into the proposed new Columbus operations.

As a result of this established operation, Shively Bros. Inc., plans to hire 9 persons initially growing to 21 positions by the end of 2018.  Initial base wages for these 21 positions will average $14.85 per hour.

As an employee owned company (ESOP), employees will be eligible to earn bonuses bringing the average wage to $15.75 – $16.48 per hour. This project was supported with a City of Columbus tax abatement and State of Indiana incentives.
